Our PTI Engineers are always looking to perfect our Note Acceptors performance.

They achieve this by reviewing the operating firmware built into the Note Acceptors and releasing updated programming files.

For example, Australia will be receiving a full range of Australian Bank Notes which will be released mid 2016

This basically means that all note accepting devices will need to be updated to be able to accept the new Australian notes.

PTI has joined the Reserve Bank of Australia's Program of companies eligible for a Pre-release of the new Notes prior to the 2016 release.

PTI does not charge customers for these updated firmware files but the customer will need certain tools to be able to update the Note acceptors

Currently there are 2 options available and a third option to be released soon. [Bluetooth module for Mobile Phone App]

Option 1:  PC Cable,  used with a Free downloadable copy of Acceptor Tools from the Pyramid Technologies Website

Option 2:  Pro2 Handheld Programmer

The Pro2 unit is the easiest way to update firmware on our Apex 7000 series Note Acceptors.

Free Pro2 Tools can also be downloaded from the Pyramid Technologies website in the support section

Note: Firmware files will only be supplied by a Distributor of the Country related to the Currency

Note. Spectra Series Firmware update can only be updated currently by USB PC Cable.
